The untouched reefs surrounding Raine Island

December 2016

If you’re curious about the state of the reefs North of Cairns, take a minute to check out some of the footage I took while diving the reefs surrounding Raine Island, the largest Green turtle nesting grounds on planet Earth. I would be bold enough to call it the most beautiful hard coral site in the entire world. This reef flat is simply covered from one end to the other in life filled, colourful and beautiful healthy reef and marine life. The most life changing experience i’ve ever had, after a lifetime spent living and working on the Great Barrier Reef.

I have included the original footage as well as the interview I did on channel 7 News below, along with all of the photos from the trip.

Please leave me a comment 🙂
